HRvan.nu is a cloud application that serves Human Resource Departments for its customers. The application is used for a administrative and automation purposes. HRvan.nu is served by Alletha B.V., my employer.
As lead on the project I developed timesheets as a module for HRvan.nu. Employees can register their hours on projects and activities. Leaders can accept and decline. HR can lock periods with hours. The worked hours are then used for billing or salary administration, or both. The module can be automated to great extend. It has implementations for external clocks, integrations with leave, sickness and the planning modules within HRvan.nu and can be connected to external APIs for billing and salary administration. The degree of human interference is configurable from very limited to very manual.
The module is still actively developed and improved. I still play a large role in the development.
This module had great impact on HRvan.nu and Alletha B.V. The timesheet module has roughly 5000 daily active users. 50% of new customers use the module and about 80% of new customers show interest or even order the module. It is one aspect of the unique position of HRvan.nu in the market.
